End of Bolivia

After La Paz, we headed on to Copacabana (not the one in Brazil, which in fact is named after the town in Bolivia) which is on the lake Titicaca. The bus ride took a little longer than expect since on the way there we had to cross a bridge. Unfortunately...

Samaipata - La Paz

No news for a while there... we arrived in Samaipata thinking we would stay two-three days and ended up staying a whole week. Samaipata is a small village about 130 km from Santa Cruz. Starting to be a bit touristy but it remains really peacefull. So...

Santa Cruz

Potosi - Sucre

After Uyuni, we headed quickly on to Potosi. Potosi was a huge town, due to it's Cerro Rico, a mountain full of silver (among other things). Our first impression of Potosi wasn't very nice, it's full of very small streets, and there are way too many cars...

Uyuni

So many things to tell. Where do I start? We took the bus from Tupiza on Monday to go to Uyuni. There are about 200 km between both towns. It took us 7 hours to get to Uyuni. We saw some beautiful and very different landscapes, alternating between mountains,...
